OUR MISSION
The Minority Education Freedom Foundation (MEFF) empowers underserved communities in Michigan—primarily Latino individuals and families—through entrepreneurial education programs, community media, and cultural and arts initiatives. By creating access to knowledge, amplifying community voices, and promoting leadership and innovation, the organization advances economic mobility, representation, and community resilience.

We envision a Michigan where Latino and other underserved communities are visible, empowered, and equipped for economic success. By cultivating leadership, celebrating culture, and expanding access to knowledge and opportunity, we contribute to a future of progress and shared prosperity.
The Minority Education Freedom Foundation (MEFF) was born from a simple belief: that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive. Founded by community leaders passionate about visibility, belonging, and cultural pride, MEFF has grown into a statewide platform that advances entrepreneurial development, community media, and cultural and arts engagement.
What began as a grassroots initiative is now a vibrant nonprofit ecosystem that reaches thousands through bilingual media, business training, and cultural events. Every program we create, every story we share, and every leader we uplift is part of a larger movement—one that centers community voice and drives sustainable change.
